Happy Anniversary Israel Week

HAPPY DESERVED 60TH ANNIVERSARY ISRAEL!

This proud nation is an example of liberty, courage and hope for all. May it thrive, grow and prosper for centuries and centuries to come!

Please take time to read or re-read an essay I wrote last year called 'Why I Strongly Support Israel'.

Many people have an idol or hero. Someone or something to look to with deep respect and try to emulate in areas of courage, stamina, ethics, beauty and individualism. In my case, this champion is the nation of Israel. I salute this most misunderstood but extremely valiant, spirited and gallant country! You'll never walk alone my friend.

Lord Nigel

A chap of many qualities. Selfish, arrogant, violent and a tap addict. He arrived at Beaman’s Lodge in his early years from off the streets and was warmly adopted. Shy at first, he quickly settled into his new surroundings. After a visit to the vets for castration, he was given the title of Lord, mainly as compensation for his loss. A slightly dim witted fellow, Nigel is what could be called, a retard. But he is loved by all. Apart from when he sits in the sink with muddy paws waiting for the tap to release water, or when he swipes you for touching his tail. Lord Nigel is a connoisseur of clean water, cat doors and moths.

Lady Mildred

Lady Mildred is a lady of finesse. She is kind, loving, sophisticated and gentle, unless you have wings, fur, eight legs or are ‘not from around here’. One drawback is that she is very highly strung and would benefit greatly from a Valium or two in her munchies. She is beautiful to look at and is literally poetry in motion when jumping out from behind the sofa and scaring poor Nigel. Among her passions are going hunting, playing with string, sleeping and above all, chasing His Lordship around the house. At night we share a bed.
